Nissan has announced that it has developed and licensed its Around View Monitor and Moving Object Detection technology while partnering up with Clarion Co for Hitachi Construction Machinery Co to use. This new technology is a parking support system that offers the driver a view of the vehicle never seen before – it allows you to see things in real time using four exterior cameras. It can also detect moving objects around the vehicle and warn the driver of any hazardous surroundings. Nissan and Clarion Co., have signed a licensing agreement with Hitachi Construction Co. that enables the construction firm to use the technology while hauling trucks and hydraulic excavators working at large open-pit mines.
