One of the biggest moments for car companies comes in October at the Tokyo Auto Show. It’s currently a long way off, but Nissan is already offering looks at its brand new cars that will be in attendance. Two radically different designs have been shown off, including an updated version of the popular Juke, as well as the next generation of the Z concept car.
The Nissan Z Redesign:
Originally a powerful performance car when it was debuted almost eight years ago, the Z car will be back with even more power. It will likely be equipped with a V6 engine capable of producing over 400 horsepower and plenty of torque. Also be on the lookout for an optional hybrid engine like the one already found on the Nissan Rogue, which trades a small amount of horsepower for a hefty boost in fuel efficiency.
Nissan Juke and e-Power:
If you are looking for a car that certainly breaks the mold, the Nissan Juke is the perfect balance between style and performance. The powerful engine provides just the right amount of acceleration and power, while not compromising the control. You can also heavily customize your model by using the Juke Color Studio. This one-of-a-kind tool puts the paint brush in your hand so you make each part exactly the right color. Nissan has noted that the latest #Juke will run on e-Power, a hybrid setup that charges an electric drivetrain with a small put powerful three-cylinder combustion engine. E-Power results in very few emissions and is highly fuel efficient thanks to the electric motor. It also sports a greater range and more horsepower than just a pure electric car.
