Get Your Hybrid Service At Cardinale Nissan

Not only do cars in Nissan’s hybrid lineup benefit from increased fuel efficiency, they also need less service overall than most traditional cars. By making the choice to buy a hybrid from Cardinale Nissan, your car service trips will be less expensive and frequent, much like your trips to the gas station. Hybrid cars offer you the peace of mind in knowing that your investment will last longer and is more durable. Cardinale Nissan is also proud to offer the best car service around for the care your hybrid does need, so visit our Monterey car dealership today.

Engine And Battery Life

By alternating between two different engine types depending on speed, hybrid cars reduce the load on the combustion engine and shift it to the battery. Fortunately, the batteries in hybrid cars are extremely powerful and long lasting, and most drivers won’t need their battery replaced during the car’s lifetime. With an estimated lifespan of over 150,000 miles, Nissan batteries are built to last and will keep you powered for years. Fortunately, if you do need a replacement, the price of these batteries is dropping lower and lower each year and they are also recyclable.

Brake Pads

Where the hybrid engine truly shines in savings is with the brake pads. Thanks to regenerative braking, the car can take much of the kinetic energy that would be applied to the brakes and instead store it for later use. This relieves an incredible amount of stress from the pads as they receive less pressure. The regenerative process can save your thousands of dollars over the life of the car and increase your fuel efficiency if done properly.

The Nissan Rogue Breaks Crossover Sales Records

Nissan Rogue Breaks Record

Because most 2017 models debut early in the year or late in 2016, April and May are the first real months that show the market impact of the changes. It takes several months after the release of a car to estimate its potential, as you want to measure average sales over a longer period of time. Crossovers continue to perform above expectations this year, and the Nissan Rogue has claimed the title of top-selling non-pickup in America. At Cardinale Nissan, a top Monterey auto dealer, you can see for yourself why this car is making big waves in the car market.

One of the biggest appeals of crossovers like the #Rogue is their adaptability and versatility. Both single drivers and families can enjoy the comfortable and spacious seating, and the car is actually fun to drive even on longer trips. The Rogue also offers plenty of trunk space thanks to its design, and can hold all your luggage or sporting equipment for any vacation or event.

The overall affordability of the Rogue also plays a major role in its success during a time where the car market is generally down. Gas prices will start creeping up as summer approaches, and having a car like the Rogue will save you money at the pump. The hybrid edition of the Rogue gets an average 34 mpg and can travel in the city using just the electric motor. The Rogue also sports features like Blind Spot Monitoring, which is bundled with Nissan’s entire suite of Safety Shield Technologies to keep you safe on the road.

When you need a Monterey car dealership that has an extensive inventory and great deal on all models, look no further than Cardinale Nissan. Whether you are just looking at Nissan’s new cars or are interested in owning or leasing a vehicle, www.cardinalenisssan.com is the place to go.

The Nissan Qashqai Makes Its Move To The United States

Nissan qashqai 1

All across the globe, car companies often have region specific models that are only sold in one area. For example, a number of cars are only sold in Japan or in the U.K. Companies often do this based on the regional popularity of certain types of car or if they better fit the geographic features. Many of these cars end up finding their way to additional regions, such as the Nissan Qashqai, which will be also be sold in the U.S. during the next year.

Much like its brother the Nissan Rogue, the Nissan Qashqai is a stylish crossover that brings together the best parts of sedans and SUVs. The crossover is the bestselling type of car on the market, thanks to its seating and fuel efficiency, which makes it great for families. Additionally, they include a fun-to-drive engine and extra storage. The Nissan Rogue has recently become the bestselling model for Nissan in 2016, even surpassing the award winning Nissan Altima and the economic Sentra. Together these two cars offer a wide selection of features and engine levels that all drivers will appreciate.

Nissan Qashqai

The two cars do have some differences. For starters, the #Qashqai is more compact and offers two rows of seating. It trades these for a cheaper price tag, fewer pounds and a more fuel efficient engine. This car is a great alternative for people looking for a bit of a smaller vehicle, while the Rogue is perfect for larger families that need the seating and trunk space, or are interested in the new hybrid engine option.

Look for this car to be unveiled at the upcoming Detroit Auto Show, and you can also test drive the 2017 Rogue today at your Monterey car dealership, Cardinale Nissan. Come see all the fantastic benefits of driving a crossover, or you can read more about us online at www.cardinalenissan.com.

The Murano Breaks The Mold Of Traditional Crossovers

Nissan Murano

Today, crossovers have become very common for both families and car enthusiasts alike. A quick scan across any parking lot will reveal a whole host of crossovers, like they were shaped from a cookie cutter. Nissan pioneered the class with its introduction of the Murano back in 2003, and later added the Rogue, Juke, Pathfinder and Armada to diversify the lineup. The Murano will always be the gold standard of crossovers though, and 2017 is bringing exciting changes and additions to this already stellar vehicle.

The Murano has four trim levels that are perfect for customizing exactly which features you want. The car has always been known for its classy style and elegant lines, and the interior of the vehicle reflects that as well. Its complex fusion of curves and angles on the outside will turn many heads, and the pearlescent trim and Cashmere color palette of the leather dashboard will create pure jealousy. Smartphone connectivity and an easy to use infotainment system provide all the tools you need to make your ride entertaining and fun.

Nissan 2 ratings and specs of the crossover murano

The #Murano strives to balance fashion and functionality; a great look means nothing after all if actually driving it is difficult or seems like a chore. Safety features on this crossover include blind spot warning, to detect when it’s clear to change lanes, and rear cross traffic alerts, which monitors dangerous movement behind your car. And just in case you had a late night out with friends or a long day at work, the car can arouse you from a drowsy or inattentive state.

This stand out crossover is available at Cardinale Nissan, along with the rest of the 2017 lineup. You can also find us online at www.cardinalenissan.com.

2017 NISSAN PATHFINDER AVAILABLE THIS MONTH

nissan pathfinder

“The 2017 Nissan Pathfinder is a great buy—get it early.”

The anticipation has been building and we are finally here in September, the month of the SUV. One model that we are very excited about is the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder, which was officially released this month for purchase. There is no doubt this one is going to be popular so if you are in the market to buy, hurry in to Cardinal Nissan Seaside and see what we’ve got.

What we love about the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder is that it finally has brought its styling up to its performance level. In 2013 the Pathfinder went from body-on-frame construction to a unibody platform, making it more of a crossover classification than a true SUV. This is all good because the crossover category is where the growth is. However, it took a few more years for the Pathfinder to find itself: just because it’s officially a crossover, doesn’t mean it has to forego its outdoorsy, truck-like appeal.

Pathfinder lovers missed the “boxy” shape. It made Pathfinder distinctive in its category. Drivers identified the profile with being more credible off-road and didn’t want to have the crossover that looks like every other.

Enter the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder from our favorite Japanese manufacturer. Just in time to celebrate SUV September (Maybe we should call this month “Suv-tember”) The 2017 Nissan Pathfinder brings back its truck-ish design so it looks more like what it used to look like: Rugged, tough and ready to go off-road. (Even if you’re really just shuttling the kids to school, at least you look like you could take on rougher terrain.)

It only makes sense that a vehicle called the Pathfinder would be able to find itself once again.

Come to Cardinale Nissan this month for SUV September, or visit to CardinaleNissan.com.

Nissan Gripz – The Concept That Can Be Part III

gripz

The interior of the Nissan Gripz Concept does not look as explosive as the exterior of the car. The interior of the car has been modeled on the features of racing bicycles. The Gripz Concept could well go on to become an inspiration for all the future crossovers in the Nissan Z family.

2+2 molded bucket seats and bare tubes resemble the features of a bicycle. The steering wheel, too, is exposed. Almost the same graphics have been used in the tire sidewalls as well as the door pulls. Overall, the features resemble the saddles of a racing bike.

The instrument cluster has a chronograph inspired design. Although it looks very sophisticated, the cluster has not got a very functional display. The floating digital display between the double-layered dashboards is quite unusual. The rest of the cabin looks very subdued.

Nissan has not divulged much detail about the drivetrain of the Gripz Concept. It has only revealed that the compact crossover will be equipped with an EV technology based series hybrid system called the “Pure Drive e-Power”. It will have an electric motor and an engine that runs on gas. Nissan has the capability of coming up with an innovative and evolutionary engine system.

Nissan Gripz – The Concept That Can Be Part II

gripz

Going by the features of the Nissan Gripz Concept it can be said that the car has a dual personality. The exterior of the concept car has a lot to offer. It looks quite trendy and aggressive.

The hood draws heavily from the 1970-1978 family of Datsun 240Z Nissan sports cars. It blends into the V-motion grille. Rectangular lamps with high and low beams are found on either side of the grille. These lamps have forward facing cameras in them. One end of the boomerang shaped headlights rests on the hood and the other end finishes into the fender.

The front section, for example the fenders and the bumper, seems to be made from a single panel. There are no specific ending of one and the beginning of the other. They blend in together seamlessly. The panel extends all the way to the A-pillars. The concept has 3 spoke 22 inch wheels custom made by Bridgestone.

The presence of scissor doors in the front and suicide doors in the rear do look a bit strange when they are open. But these do away with the need for a B-pillar. It makes getting in and out of the car a lot easier. The floating roof gives the car a somewhat coupe-like body styling.

If you would like to know more about the features of the Nissan Gripz or would like to book your next Nissan car, please visit the Cardinale Nissan showroom as soon as possible.

Nissan Gripz – The Concept That Can Be Part I

gripz

The Nissan Gripz Concept is designed using the new and Nissan’s very own ‘emotional geometry’ design language. The end product ensures that the Gripz makes a statement allowing Nissan followers to have something to feast their eyes on.

The crossover Gripz Concept includes four key design components. It has a V-motion grille, boomerang lamps in the rear and the front, a floating roof as well as a kicked up C-pillar. It is unlike anything seen before in Europe. Nissan had used these same components for its Sway model in the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.

Nissan is considered to be the pioneer of the compact crossover idea. According to the Senior Vice President and Chief Creative Officer of Nissan, Mr. Shiro Nakamura, the Gripz compact crossover has not been designed to replace the immensely successful Qashqai and Juke. The Gripz, however, tries to show to the world what it is capable of.

In the Gripz, two contradictions have been fused together – superior technology and simplicity. The concept of ‘emotional geometry’, the language used for designing the body of the Gripz, brings together contrasting features to create a dynamic, tensional and yet an edgy surface. The design was a collaborative effort between Nissan Global Design Center in Japan and Nissan Design Europe in London.

If you would like to know more about the features of the Nissan Gripz or would like to book your next Nissan car, please visit the Cardinale Nissan showroom today.
