The Nissan Group reported its January 2015 sales figures; the Japanese auto group announced that as of January 31st, 2015 it has sold a total of 104,107 units, up 15.1% year-over-year – this is a January sales record. The Nissan division has also set a January record with 94,449 units sold, demonstrating an increase of 15.9%. The Nissan Altima set a model record at 26,408 this past month, up 17.3%; the Rogue also set a January record at 15,649, representing an increase of 13.1%. Additionally, Nissan announced its plans to continue growing its U.S. sales with new models in 2015, including the all-new Titan pickup recently revealed at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit and an all-new Maxima, which was previewed in Nissan’s “With Dad” television ad that aired during the broadcast of Super Bowl XLIX.
