Nissan’s quarterly profit has increased by almost five percent due to a greater demand in Nissan vehicles worldwide. The motor company reported that sales increased by more than twenty percent to $31 billion. The Japanese automaker is confident that their sales will continue to increase throughout the rest of the year because of recent sales growth which was outpacing the industry. Between March 2013 and March 2014, Nissan sold 5.2 million vehicles worldwide, which pushed them to control 6.2% of the global automotive industry.
