Nissan recently announced that U.S. dealers report that one of its hottest selling models is the Nissan Rogue. The automaker plans to build 100,000 more Rogue models in Japan per year, starting next year. An increase in production will allow Nissan to potentially sell more than 300,000 a year in the U.S. The automaker plans to also add new product plans in the near future: A hybrid version of the vehicle will launch in 2016, the European Qashqai crossover will come to the U.S. to be sold as a more fuel-efficient version of the Rogue.
