Nissan recently revealed that it may consider developing a compact crossover to add to the LEAF model lineup. Although these are speculations, Nissan could benefit from developing a vehicle that would share the same drivetrain as its most popularly sold vehicle. According to several online blogs, the second-generation LEAF will receive a five-door hatchback model which will deliver a driving range of up to 250 miles.
